This is a love story between Finnegan Barrett, a young man awarded the Bronze Star from South Dakota, and Nora Callin, a college girl from the Georgia coast. The reader will laugh, cry, hope, and wonder as Finnegan finds himself as he learns to cope, fight, and love his way through a tragic life. As you journey through this novel, you will discover challenging, supernatural, romantic, and horrifying scenes, all relevant to the evil and holy perspectives throughout.
The scenes themselves are chock full of dialog, story-telling, and character development. The evil that is shown and acted out in some of these characters is also found in Finnegan’s own heart as he considers things; experiences things. Some of the challenges in his life lead him to believe, despite his good reputation, that he, himself, is a coward and capable of the very worst. The contrast of what his life becomes, versus, what he wanted from the onset, is identifiable by most every reader, as they will see themselves, at least in heart, throughout his seemingly pre-determined life as events unfold, which, in their sum-total, all seem to point him to his ultimate destination, one he never even considered.
